Stamattina, S.E. Carmel Vassallo, Ambasciatore di Malta in Italia, ha fatto visita alla città di Ravenna, dove è stato accolto, presso il Palazzo del Governo dal Prefetto Castrese DE ROSA, dal Sindaco Michele de PASCALE, dal Direttore Marittimo dell’Emilia-Romagna C.V.(CP) Francesco CIMMINO, e dal Segretario Generale dell’Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico centro settentrionale, Fabio MALETTI.

The Port of Ravenna - The Port of Ravenna represents the only port in the Emilia-Romagna Region.
By virtue of its strategic geographic position, the Port of Ravenna is a leading port in Italy for its trade with the markets of the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea (almost 40% of the national total and excluding coal and oil products) and plays an important role as regards trade with the markets of the Middle and Far East. 
Port Authority - The Port Authority of Ravenna operates to direct, plan, coordinate, promote and control port operations and other commercial and industrial activities in the port, administers the State’s maritime assets, provides for the maintenance of the port’s seabed and the construction of major port infrastructure financed by the State and guarantees the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the common areas.
